This is tree #3 in the series. I haven't photgraphed the fourth one yet. Others are in progress. I am really loving this technique a lot. I think I have found my groove as far as the painting process. You know there is something to be said for enjoying the process. But, I finally love seeing the final outcome too. I have to say that the photos never do the art real justice. These paintings really take on a life of their own and just glow when you place them under a spot light.

Okay, here is another of th enew tree series paintings. I will hopefully have nine or ten in the total series. I have four completed so far. Hope you enjoy and I always appreciate any feedback.

I've been working on a series of new paintings that are a bit sculptural in style and technique. It is something new for me and I am really liking this method of painting. Painting in this way creates a syntheisi of my love of the painting process and the tactile nature of sculpture. This is the first of three I have completed so far.
