The Button Thief

The button theif is the next in the house goblin series. He takes delight in sneaking around snatching loose buttons off of your cloths without you suspecting a thing. He hordes them in his secret hiding place. So, the next time you find a button has gone missing you may have one of his kinfolk living in your house. They can be coaxed into trading some of their button stash for the right snack.

He is a full polymer clay sculpt over a wire amrature. He was then painted and stained to give him his subtle color. I used texture mats to create the textured skin. He is standing on an old fence top that has been weathered to perfetion. Around him is a collection of old buttons and a few antique spools of thread. He is available for purchase as is the coffee goblin below. Just email me for price. I have yet to set up an Etsy shop.
