Ha Za! 200 Followers A Celebration Give Away

Wowzers, I have reached the milestone of 200 followers.  I am really excited.  So, to celebrate such a great milestone event in blog land.  I am having a give away.  It will be pretty simple.  You just have to be a follower and comment on this post.  I will repeat these two rules at the end.



This is the prize of the give away.  It is one of my original sculpts.  He is the first goblin wizard of earth named Yah-yay and is a polymer clay sculpt over a paper mache armature.  He measures approximately 8 inches high.  He is one of my favorites of the goblin series.

As a token of my gratitude for all the support and interest in my art, this give away is for the followers.  So, to enter you must

You have an outstanding talent and I have noticed such a wonderful healing within you since your journey with your healing doll. There is so much emotion in that face you created. Congrats on 200+ followers. I'm happy to see you posting more on The Street!

Hmmmm, goblin ,indeed.That's a statue of me,quit fooling around,I just look and feel that way because of having bronchitis ,give me a week and I'll look different. Oh,hummmmm ,you thought you could fool everyone. NOT ,MEeeeeee. Keep up the good work ,Cody. Sorry for blabbing so ,I think ,I've got cabin fever. I just discovered your blog. What fun I have had browsing the last couple of years of entries. So much inspiration and information. I have dabbled in small paper mache sculpture in the style of Giacometti and now want to try weird creatures in clay and mixed media. Will definitely be back often to visit. Also signed up as a follower so I don't miss anything. Thank you for sharing your talent so others can learn.

OK , without further ado here is my entry for the ADO Art Dolls Only challenge The Elements . Please go visit the ADO blog to see some of the great entries for this challenge. Introducing for the first time anywhere, the Mergoblin . He is the first of his kind to grace my blog and studio. Several of his relatives are planning a visit real soon. He is a polymer clay one of a kind sculpt. He has a recycled head that was made for an earlier project. The eyes are fresh water pearls that have been dyed. His tail is made from a type of willow tree. I know the photography isn't spectacular but, I wanted to get him up on the blog in time. Here is a closer view of his head area. This is the other side view. He is mounted on a wooden base suspended by a wire inserted into a brass tube. I painted the brass tube blue to match the stand. This was a fun challenge that got me to think outside my usual box. Hope you enjoy him.

Saying Thank You in a Giveaway

You aren't seeing things.  I have posted this piece before.  But, this time is different.  I wanted to celebrate two things in my little life.  First is hitting 140 followers here on this blog.  I am so honored by the loyal friends who come and visit me and my art goings on.  Thank you for that support and encouragement.  Secondly, a good friend and artist I know really inspired me with her own unique spiritual perspectives on giving.  So, MarZel this is to honor your wonderful contribution to my world as well.
